Job Summary
As a Registration Clerk based in Alexandria, you will play a crucial role in the front-line operations of UNHCR. You will be responsible for the meticulous processing of Persons of Concern (PoCs) at the gate and reception areas, providing essential counseling and ensuring that all registration procedures adhere to UNHCR's high standards and security framework. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and fluency in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process Persons of Concern (PoCs) at the gate and reception with high attention to detail.
- Provide counseling and support to applicants throughout the registration process.
- Effectively handle registration tasks using UNHCR's systems and tools.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality and security when handling sensitive information.
- Support colleagues within the Registration Unit to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: A High School Diploma is required. A Bachelor of Arts degree is also accepted.
- Experience: Basic experience with UNHCR, particularly in front-facing roles like reception or gate management, is preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
- Skills: Must be detail-oriented with a strong understanding of UNHCR's operational framework.
